Our establishment is one that hugs the old values and principles in the brewing discipline.

All that Ale House represents could be found in the first public brewing establishment, when the ale wives of yesteryear brewed their ales and sold it in their ale houses.

It's in the country.  It overlooks the magnificent Magaliesberg Mountain range. It's relaxed.

If you come to the Ale House to expect a zillion ales on tap and tasting trays carried out to your table, you have come to the wrong place.

We serve only a select pair of ales at any given time. But they are alternated during the course of the day so that you can enjoy some variety.

Out of the ordinary pizza from our wood-burning pizza over - delicious with fresh and local ingredients.

Our premier annual event is the laid-back Solstice Festival which brings the best of Craft Beer together.

What would an Irish Ale house be without a legacy? We honour the Irish effort in the South African War.
